Alberto López Calvo 2009, red wine from "Tierras de Castilla y León", with 24 months aging in French oak barrels, and even perfect wine for aging. Like its predecessors, this extraordinary wine combines elegant aromas of ripe red and black fruits, combined with round tannins and wood in mouth. A complex wine of intense garnet red colour with brick red trim. Spanish wine with French red wine styles that give it a unique complex in the world.
It has the label of Ecological for not using pesticides at any stage of the process.
Mixture of varieties: Tempranillo (75%), Cabernet Sauvignon (20%) and Merlot (5%).
Tasting note: Intense aromas of toasted wood fine, ripe, red fruits and light smoky leather. It ends with a warm persistence. Elegant and very well balanced.
Pairing: Perfect for grilled red meats, roasts and cheeses. Drink at a temperature between 16 and 18 °. To be decanted.
