Mas de Subirá 2013 is a extraordinary red wine from the exclusive Designation Priorat (Catalunya) made of best quality Garnacha, Carñena and Carvernet Sauvignon grapes. Its International acknowledgment shows the quality of this wine.
Sommeliers recommendation: Red meats, stews, starters, appetizers, game.
Tasting note: Very intense cherry red colour, with flashes of violet. Long persistent legs. Star bright. In mouth, good intensity, ripe black plum fruit, and a good level of minerality, with light touches of wood, which do not dominate or mask the fruit. On the palate, it is refreshing initially, evolving quickly into a palate of full, heavy fruit. Good acidity, rich and silky, full bodied, creating a long, deep finish and aftertaste, where the intensity of fruit and the classy mineral notes return. Very well structured with fine ripe tannins.
