Alberto López Calvo 2004, exceptional red wine with 24 months aging in French oak barrels. An exquisite wine for those who value the complexity and smoky and woody aromas in wine. Much like French wines, aromas of ripe red fruits, spices, smoked, wild fruits and light aromas of leather.
It has the label of Ecological for not using pesticides at any stage of the process.
Mixture of varieties: Tempranillo (75%), Cabernet Sauvignon (20%) and Merlot (5%).
Tasting note: Cherry red with rust-coloured edging. full-bodied, silky (ou smooth), with round tannins which combine to perfection the fruity and woody flavours in the mouth as well as through the nose.
The alcoholic fermentation, without yeast or enzymes, takes place in vats then the malolactic in barrels. The grape juice reaches an average of 13°.
Pairing: Perfect for grilled red meats, roasts and cheeses. Drink at a temperature between 16 and 18 °. To be decanted.
