Aljibes Petit Verdot 2015, IGP Vino de la Tierra de Castilla

Aljibes Petit Verdot 2015, IGP Vinos de la tierra de Castilla. 100% Petit Verdot grapes. Extraordinary red wine with an intense red colour and a soft and complex taste. A red wine very fresh and elegant.

Sommelier recommendation:  Red meats, game and roasted cuts.

Tasting note: Intense violet-garnet, with aromas of Mediterranean forest, incense and exotic spices. Soft, balanced and long on the palate with ripened tannins. Taste varietal characteristic high concentration.

Jay S. Miller Tasting Note (The wine Advocate, Robert Parker): "The Aljibes Petit Verdot spent 12 months in large French oak followed by 4 months in second use barriques. Exotic spices, violets, incense, espresso, and blackberry aromas inform the nose of a dense, layered, sexy, potentially complex, lengthy wine."
