Honoris de Valdubón 2009 is one of the most exclusives wines from Spain, this wine is called "de autor" because is made with a very exhaustive selection of grapes. Designation of Origin Ribera del Duero. Tempranillo, Merlot and cabernet sauvignon grapes.
Sommeliers recommendation: All sorts of good meats, red meats, stews, spicy dishes.
Tasting note: Wine with a full, rich, lively and intense red colour unusual for its youth but reflecting the meticulous winemaking process. The nose is stunningly elegant and complex. Plums, raspberries and dried fruit combine with a wonderful spicy length thanks to the perfectly timed oak ageing. The palate is warm and appealing, full of soft, ripe tannins and rich, silky, mature fruit and a long, structured intense finish.
